Mikolaj Mazur

Founder & head coach

My name is Mikolaj, and I’ve been doing martial arts for 15 years. I started with MMA, which eventually led me to discover my real passion: ground fighting and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I began training in a small town in eastern Poland and later moved to Krakow, where I spent five years training at Unity Krakow.

Always hungry for more detail, more technique, and more mat time, I decided to move to Oslo and start competing internationally with the team at Frontline Academy. In 2018, I made my first trip to New York to train under Murilo Santana, one of the most respected teachers in the sport and the founder of Unity Jiu-Jitsu.

Since then, I’ve followed the Unity Jiu-Jitsu style and teaching approach, returning to New York several times each year and joining their World Championship training camps in Manhattan. Unity taught me not only high-level technique, but also the importance of community and of lifting each other up, on and off the mats.

Today, I’m putting my time and energy into building a people-focused, values-driven jiu-jitsu community of my own, one where everyone feels welcome, supported, and challenged to grow.
